Our Journey Towards Justice
As Christians, we follow Christ on a journey towards justice. We are called to care for the poor, the vulnerable, and the oppressed. In this moment, we in the Episcopal Church are called to work towards racial reconciliation to build God’s Beloved Community.
At Trinity, we work both care for our neighbors and also to speak out on their behalf. We work to shine the light of God’s love on the darkness of racism, sin, and injustice in ourselves and in our society, and we strive to be better stewards of the creation God has entrusted to us.
We have been partners with Cathedral of the Beloved in Pittsfield and the Lenox Food Pantry for many years helping those who don’t have enough food or a place to call home.
Trinity also administers Thelma’s Little Fund, a fund dedicated to small, anonymous grants to Lenox families in need. By keeping the gifts anonymous, we both help our neighbors and also honor the dignity of those who might be hesitant about asking for that help. Please contact the office if you are aware of any needs in the community we may be able to assist through Thelma’s Little Fund.
