The Cantilena Chamber Choir presents a concert of music in the time of Galileo on Sunday October 22, 3:00pm at Trinity Church, Lenox to include works by Monteverdi, Marenzio and more with special guests Galileo’s Daughters (Sarah Pillow soprano, Mary Anne Ballard, viola da gamba and Dulsan Balerin, lute). Noted musicologist Steven Ledbetter will be providing a lecture on Galileo and his world.
The Cantilena Chamber Choir, now in its 20th season, is directed by Andrea Goodman and is comprised of 24 dedicated singers of the highest caliber, who possess vocal training, excellent sight-reading skills and considerable choral experience.
